"Frozen 2" Set a Thanksgiving Weekend Box Office Record

Did you go see '"Frozen 2" yet? I loved it! It made $127 million in its opening week LAST weekend, and it was just as big over this past Thanksgiving weekend.
It made an estimated $85.2 million over the traditional three-day weekend, and $123.7 million if you count the full five-day holiday weekend . . . from Wednesday through Sunday. Both the three-day and five-day numbers were Thanksgiving records.
In second is "Knives Out", which debuted with $41.7 million over the five-day weekend. That's a far cry from "Frozen 2", but it did exceed expectations. It's also the 16th largest five-day Thanksgiving opening ever.
