Looking at Google search data for celebrity pets in 2020, the data doesn't lie! It found that Taylor Swift's cats, Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button — were the most searched for pets of the year! The cats inspired over 979,000 searches. Coming in second place is Kylie Jenner's numerous dogs. The search results weren't even close though. Kylie Jenner's two Italian greyhounds, Norman and Bambi, got over 206,000 searches. Other beloved celebrity pets, like Amanda Seyfried's dog, Sophie Turner's dogs, and Ed Sheeran cats, also make an appearance on the list. NYPD found homeless man who punched Rick Moranis
A suspect was arrested Saturday in connection to the assault on Rick Moranis in New York City last month. Marquis Ventura, who is described by authorities as homeless, was charged with second-degree assault. If you missed the story, the assailant sucker-punched Rick Moranis in the head with a closed fist, causing him to fall to the ground. A rep for Rick Moranis later confirmed that Moranis is fine, but grateful for everyone's thoughts and wishes.
LeVar Burton "flattered" by fan petition to replace Alex Trebek on Jeopardy!
Following the passing of Alex Trebek, talk has turned to who could possibly replace the iconic Jeopardy! game show host. The big rumor is that George Stephanopoulos is the front-runner. However, many fans believe that former Reading Rainbow host LeVar Burton should have the job! Like Alex Trebek, LeVar Burton achieved much of his fame through educational television, and was truly humbled once he found out fans created a petition on his behalf to replace the late Trebek. LeVar Burton tweeted alongside a link to the petition, “Even if nothing comes from it, I can’t tell how much how I appreciate all y’alls love and support.” He also added, “Of course while I’m very flattered by the petition, my thoughts are definitely with Alex Trebeck’s family and his millions of fans and the devastating loss of this irreplaceable legend. #LongLiveAlex.” As of this past weekend, the petition had over 71,000 signatures.

After nearly 9 years together, 7 of which they were engaged, Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have split up. The rumor is that the breakup happened at the beginning of the year.
