Update On Taylor Swift’s Second Day At Court

Yesterday was the second day of Taylor Swift’s trial against the former radio show host that she is accusing of sexual assault, and she looked focused and calm as her lawyers presented opening statements to the jury panel. Taylor Swift’s attorney Douglas Baldridge said that Taylor Swift is “taking a stand for all women” and that “this is a case of sexual assault in the workplace.” Her mother was emotional during the opening statements and Taylor Swift’s lawyer said, “A woman is assaulted. She reports it and she gets sued … it doesn’t make sense. She’s trying to tell people out there that you can say no when someone grabs you no matter who they are.” The DJ said that it’s a “humiliating thing to be accused of something that despicable” when asked if he had filed a claim against Taylor Swift for financial gain. We’ll update you once a final decision is made in the trial.

David Letterman Is Coming Out Of Retirement

David Letterman may have retired from a 33-year career in television over two years ago, but he just can’t seem to stop working! David Letterman is coming out of retirement to do a new talk show for Netflix! I guess he missed talking to people! According to a description from Netflix, the six-episode series will feature “in-depth conversations with extraordinary people” and “in-the-field segments” detailing topics that attract Letterman’s “curiosity and humor.” Each episode will be an hour long.

New Miley Cyrus Music On The Way

Get excited! There’s a new Miley Cyrus album coming very soon! Last night, her official website was updated with a picture of the title of her next record, Younger Now, written out in rope. The release date, September 29th was listed just below. That’s so soon! It’s been two years since Miley Cyrus dropped her last record, so I think it’s going to be pretty good, especially if the rest of her album is like her latest song, Malibu!
