Ryan Reynolds Still Sorry About His 2012 Plantation Wedding

Ryan Reynolds is speaking up about his wedding back in 2012 with Blake Lively, which took place on a South Carolina plantation. His wedding has been criticized for a while due to the fact that he got married at a place that has a strong connection to slavery. In an interview this week, Ryan Reynolds said that the wedding is "something we’ll always be deeply and unreservedly sorry for... It’s impossible to reconcile. What we saw at the time was a wedding venue on Pinterest. What we saw after was a place built upon devastating tragedy... A giant... mistake like that can either cause you to shut down or it can reframe things and move you into action... But repatterning and challenging lifelong social conditioning is a job that doesn’t end."

Mulan Will Debut On Disney Plus For $30
I saw this one coming. It just took longer to announce than I thought it would. Disney announced that it's blockbuster live action reboot of Mulan, which has been delayed from it's theatrical release since mid-March, will premiere on Disney+ on September 4th for a premium price of $29.99. The movie will also be released theatrically in certain markets at the same time that have open theaters. Disney CEO Bob Chapek said, “We see this as an opportunity to bring this incredible film to a broad audience, currently unable to go to movie theaters, while also further enhancing the value and attractiveness of a Disney+ subscription with this great content." Bob Chapek did emphasize that this would be a "one-time event" and not the start of a new business model. We'll see. I don't think this will be a one time event.
