Tom Cruise books 2021 space tour for his Elon Musk NASA movie
It's really happening... Tom Cruise is going to space, and it's all for the sake of our entertainment! Tom Cruise has been working on a plan to shoot a movie, at least partially, in space. This summer, he convinced Universal Pictures to board the project. Now, we have confirmation that Tom Cruise will be taking his trip to space next fall. The Space Shuttle Almanac Twitter account, which documents every major space launch, tweeted out some details. The account shared that Tom Cruise will fly aboard a ship from Elon Musk's SpaceX. The account tweeted, "So its confirmed that Michael Lopez-Alegria is flying the Axiom Space SpaceX #CrewDragon tourist mission with Director Doug Liman & Tom Cruise. One seat still to be filled. They are to launch in October, 2021." Details about the space movie itself still aren't known. The filmmakers do have the cooperation of NASA though, and they will be filming aboard the International Space Station.

Vanessa Bryant has sued Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva and his department over photos that were taken at the site of the helicopter crash that killed her husband Kobe Bryant, and their daughter Gianna, along with seven others. The lawusit, that was filed last week, said, “Faced with a scene of unimaginable loss, no fewer than eight sheriff’s deputies at the crash site pulled out their personal cell phones and snapped photos of the dead children, parents, and coaches. The deputies took these photos for their own personal gratification." Vanessa Bryant is seeking unspecified damages and a jury trial.
