Stan Lee Passed Away At The Age Of 95

Stan Lee Passed Away

I don't even know how to start this. Stan Lee has passed away at the age of 95. He had been in frail health for some time, but still had writing, producing and cameo projects in the works. Stan Lee had a pacemaker installed back in 2012 and with each passing year started to loose his eyesight. He of course created the famous Marvel universe and his film franchises have grossed billions of dollars. His success even prompted Disney to buy Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion in 2009. Stan Lee said about the deal, "I should have been greedier." To think that he started writing back in 1939 just blows my mind. Stan Lee is survived by daughter Joan Celia "J.C." Lee. His wife of 70 years, Joan B. Lee, died in July 2017.

Lorde Goes After Kanye West And Kid Cudi For "Stealing" Her Set Design

Lorde is calling out Kanye West and Kid Cudi over their most recent concert in Los Angeles. So here's what happened. Lorde posted a few photos on Instagram comparing her 2017 tour set alongside pictures from their show. In both instances, there's a transparent and enclosed stage-like area that's suspended above the ground. Kanye West and Kid Cudi were both in the box. Lorde stood in front of it in her photos. Her dancers and performers were in the hanging stage during her shows. Even though Lorde didn't call them out by name, a picture can be worth a thousand words. In this case, the words she wrote were: "I'm proud of the work I do and it's flattering when other artists feel inspired by it, to the extent that they try it on themselves. But don't steal—not from women or from anyone else—in 2018 or ever."

John Mayer Reveals What Led Him To Sobriety Two Years Ago

This year, John Mayer celebrated two years of sobriety, and he has Drake to thank for it! John Mayer revealed, "It was Drake's 30th birthday party, and I made quite a fool of myself. It took me weeks to stop doing this every morning I woke up." He said it was the most amazing last night of his life drinking and can remember the hangover. John Mayer said, "That's how big the hangover was. I looked out the window and I went, 'OK, John, what percentage of your potential would you like to have? Because if you say you'd like 60, and you'd like to spend the other 40 having fun, that's fine. But what percentage of what is available to you would you like to make happen? There's no wrong answer. What is it?' I went, '100.'" So from that day on, he stopped drinking. Drake's parties get crunk!
