Simon Cowell had a pretty rough weekend. He was in surgery for six hours on Saturday after breaking his back in an electric bike crash! He is now resting and in recovery. When he fell off his bike, Simon Cowell landed right on his back which broke in a bunch of different places. He had to have a metal rod put into his back. Considering the circumstances, he's doing ok. Simon Cowell will miss at least two America's Got Talent live shows this week due to the incident.

Carole Baskin is coming after Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, and it's all over their new music video for the song, “WAP.” Carole Baskin is concerned that the music video glamorizes big cat ownership for the rich, and could inspire fans to adopt exotic pets that they can't care for. Carole Baskin explained in a statement. “No matter how you cut it, it's always abusive to the cat and dangerous to the public.” Currently, there is no evidence of animal abuse related to the music video.
The MTV Video Music Awards Switches To Outdoor Performances
The MTV Video Music Awards finally made the judgement call that we've all been waiting for. They announced that the annual ceremony will not be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Instead, the show consist of "several outdoor performances around New York City with limited or no audience." Rumors were going around that some VMAs staffers had expressed that they didn't feel safe going ahead with the show, which is set to take place on August 30th.
