Sam Smith Says They Had Coronavirus But Was Never Tested

Sam Smith recently did an interview and spoke about their experience in quarantine. During the virtual interview, Sam Smith said they had spent weeks in isolation after getting sick, explaining, “I didn’t get tested but I know I had it. 100% had it... Everything I read completely pointed to that. So, yeah. I definitely had it. Then as soon as I had it, my sister, like five days after, started getting symptoms who was living with me. So, me and her were just isolating for three weeks because we knew.”

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Publicly Cut Ties With Four U.K. Tabloids

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are cutting ties with four U.K. tabloids. They announced that “there will be no corroboration and zero engagement" with them because they fundamentally disagree with their “style of reporting.” The four tabloids are The Sun, The Daily Mail, The Mirror, and The Express. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle claim that those tabloids have “pulled apart” the lives of many people. The couple says this is not a “blanket policy for all media.” Meghan Markle is suing The Daily Mail for publishing parts of a “private and confidential” letter to her dad from August 2018.

Here's How American Idol Will Broadcast From More Than 40 Different Locations
This Sunday night, American Idol will return with new shows, but thanks to COVID-19, they will be broadcasting like they never have before. According to Variety, Ryan Seacrest will anchor the show from his house. He's even going to use the original American Idol desk from the show's run on Fox, because he was keeping it in his garage.  The show will be produced live-to-tape, with the 20 contestants sending in their footage for the producers to edit into something that works. There will also only be four episodes. So there will be multiple eliminations every week. On Sunday's episode, the top 20 will be cut down to the top 10! All of the contestants were sent iPhone cameras and lighting kits. They've also been having multiple online meetings with the producers about how to shoot their performances at home, how to do their own wardrobe, make-up and hair, and how to work with the American Idol in-house band and vocal coaches. The judges, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan will be able to watch the performances along with the contestants on a split screen. The only live moment will be the finale, when Ryan Seacrest will announce the winner.
