Michael J. Fox retires second time because of health issues

Michael J. Fox is retiring again because of health concerns. He was diagnosed decades ago with Parkinson's disease, but has had more recent health issues, including a 2018 surgery to remove a noncancerous tumor from his spine. He writes in his new book that, "There is a time for everything, and my time of putting in a 12-hour workday, and memorizing 7 pages of dialogue, is best behind me... In fairness to myself and to producers, directors, editors, and poor beleaguered script supervisors, not to mention actors who enjoy a little pace, I enter a second retirement... That could change, because everything changes. But if this is the end of my acting career, so be it."

Brad Pitt delivered groceries to low-income neighborhood

How nice! Brad Pitt helped those in need by hand-delivering boxes of groceries to low-income families in an Los Angeles housing project last week. The actor was seen handing out boxes of food to crowds of people. He even drove the delivery truck to transport the goods. Since Brad Pitt was wearing a face mask due to the pandemic, match that with a casual outfit, and many people didn’t even recognize him. He worked non-stop to unload and deliver boxes to those people waiting in long lines for about four hours straight. Another celebrity that's doing some Thanksgiving good? Selena Gomez! She announced that she and her HBO team that airs her cooking show will be donating $100,000 to Feeding America, a non-profit organization which serves as a nationwide network of food banks. Selena Gomez said, “With so many people in the US facing food insecurity and to help ensure people in need also celebrate Thanksgiving, Selena + Chef will be donating $100,000 to Feeding America.”
