Music Industry To Observe "Black Out Tuesday"

The music industry, which is led by most of the major record labels, will observe “Black Out Tuesday” today in solidarity with nationwide protests after George Floyd was killed while in police custody by a police officer who knelt on his neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds in Minneapolis on May 25th. The campaign is being described as "a day to disconnect from work and reconnect with our community.” You will see on social media today the hashtag #TheShowMustBePaused used. A post circulated widely on Instagram and other social media from various labels that said: “Due to recent events please join us as we take an urgent step of action to provoke accountability and change. As gatekeepers of the culture, it’s our responsibility to not only come together to celebrate the wins, but also hold each other up during a loss.” TV companies joined the cause last night as well. MTV, Comedy Central, CMT, VH1 and other companies suspended their programming for 8 minutes and 46 seconds at 5 PM last night.

Tiger King's Carole Baskin Granted Control Of Joe Exotic's Former Zoo

Wow! Carole Baskin will be taking control of the zoo formerly operated by Joe Exotic! The G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial Park in Oklahoma has been under the control of Jeff Lowe recently, but is now being handed over to the very woman whom Joe Exotic was convicted of plotting to kill. Carole Baskin and her Big Cat Rescue corporation have been granted control of the zoo by a judge who found that the property was fraudulently transferred to Joe Exotic's mother years ago! This would make the transfer over to Jeff Lowe fradulent as well! So now, Jeff Lowe has 120 days to vacate the premises... including all of his animals that are currently living there!

Kanye West Threatening To Sue Ex-Bodyguard

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have taken legal action against Kanye West’s former bodyguard who described the rapper as the “neediest, moodiest and worst tipper.” The couple sent a cease and desist letter threatening the ex-bodyguard with a $10 million lawsuit if he publicly speaks about Kanye West again. The letter alleges that the ex-bodyguard made “false and defamatory” statements and that he breached a confidentiality agreement he signed in February 2016. A rep for the ex-bodyguard is saying that the stories that were shared were already out there. The ex-bodyguard also said that Kanye West was one of his “least favorite people” to work with because of his “ridiculous rules.”
