Lizzo Becomes First Female To Headline Bonnaroo Music Festival
After an amazing year, Lizzo is keeping it going! She will be the first female act to headline the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival this June. Bonnaroo will be held June 11th-14th in Manchester, Tennessee. Tool, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey and Megan Thee Stallion are some of the other artists that will be performing as well. I know Lizzo just took a break from social media because of people bullying her online, but hopefully this makes her feel awesome!
Hustlers Real-Life Strip Club Host Sues J.Lo's Production Company for $40M
Uh oh. The woman who was the inspiration for Jennifer Lopez's character in "Hustlers" is suing J. Lo's production company, claiming they used her likeness and her story without permission. Not only that, the woman, whose name is Samantha Barbash, is claiming that they also defamed her in the process. In the lawsuit, she's claiming that producers approached her to get her consent for the movie and she said no. Despite that, the movie was made anway. The part of the movie that has her the most upset is that the character based on her in the movie is portrayed as using and making illegal substances in her home with her child present. She says it's untrue and offensive. So, she's suing for $40 million!
