Lea Michele Apologizes After Costar Accuses Her of Making Glee A 'Living Hell': 'I Will Be Better'

Lea Michele is apologizing for her past behavior after her Glee costar Samantha Marie Ware accused her of making her life a nightmare on the set of the musical TV series. Lea Michele said in a statement that while she does not remember making the specific remarks that her costar said she made, that's "not really the point... What matters is that I clearly acted in ways which hurt other people... One of the most important lessons of the last few weeks is that we need to take the time to listen and learn about other people's perspectives and any role we have played or anything we can do to help address the injustices that they face... When I tweeted the other day, it was meant to be a show of support for our friends and neighbors and communities of color during this really difficult time... but the responses I received to what I posted have made me also focus specifically on how my own behavior towards fellow cast members was perceived by them... While I don’t remember ever making this specific statement and I have never judged others by their background or color of their skin, that’s not really the point... What matters is that I clearly acted in ways which hurt other people... Whether it was my privileged position and perspective that caused me to be perceived as insensitive or inappropriate at times or whether it was just my immaturity and me just being unnecessarily difficult, I apologize for my behavior and for any pain which I have caused. We all can grow and change and I have definitely used these past several months to reflect on my own shortcomings... I am a couple of months from becoming a mother and I know I need to keep working to better myself and take responsibility for my actions, so that I can be a real role model for my child and so I can pass along my lessons and mistakes, so that they can learn from me... I listened to these criticisms and I am learning and while I am very sorry, I will be better in the future from this experience." Samantha Ware responded to Lea Michele's apology and said she isn't buying it!

NBA To Vote On 22-Team, Disney-Set Plan To Finish It's Season

The National Basketball Association's board of governors is expected to approve the league's plan for a 22-team return-to-play in order to finish the 2019-20 season today. The league previously confirmed that it was talking to The Walt Disney Co. to play at the Orlando park. Now, it appears the season will pick up on July 31st, with games being held at Walt Disney World's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The top 22 teams when the season was suspended will play eight regular season games for playoff seeding purposes. It is assumed that the games will be played without fans present for health and safety reasons.

AMC Theaters May Not Survive The COVID-19 Pandemic

AMC Theaters is saying that it may not survive the coronavirus pandemic, which has closed it's theaters and led film studios to release more movies directly to viewers on the Internet. All of AMC's theaters are shut down through June, which means the company isn't making any money. AMC said it has enough money to reopen it's theaters this summer, but if it’s not allowed to reopen, they'll have to borrow money. They may still even have problems if major studios delay releasing new movies.
