John Legend Headlining Macy's July 4th Fireworks NBC Special

John Legend will give a headlining performance during the 2020 Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular! He will headline the Independence Day celebration this upcoming Saturday in New York along with Lady A, The Killers, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and the Black Eyed Peas. The event will air at 7 p.m. CST on NBC. Saturday's celebration will mark the end of Macy's daily fireworks shows in New York, which started yesterday. Apart from Saturday's finale, Macy's won't announce the location or timing of this week's shows in advance because of the coronavirus pandemic. The last thing they want to provoke is large crowds for an extended period of time.

MTV's Video Music Awards Set To Be Held Live With No Audience

Speaking of New York, New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced yesterday that the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards will still happen at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sunday, August 30th. The governor said at at a press conference that “the event will follow all safety guidance, including limited or no audience.” More information will be coming soon. Holding any sort of large public gathering is still very problematic as the pandemic continues to spread across the country. However, this way we'll still get our MTV Video Music Awards!

Nick Cannon To Host New Celebrity Call Center Advice Show

Would you watch a show where a bunch of celebrities give you advice? Well, it's coming! Nick Cannon will lead a group of celebrities giving advice to everyday people in an upcoming new series on E!. Celebrity Call Center, where a group of famous people give advice over the phone, has been given the green light for 10 episodes! People will get the chance to receive advice from celebs on fun, lighthearted, and relatable topics. Think subjects such as family, relationships, friends, and work. The participating stars will tap into their own experiences to help callers through their situations. Nick Cannon isn't just the host, he's also one of the executive producers. Some of the celebrity participants include Brie and Nikki Bella, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker, Todd Chrisley, Terry and Heather Dubrow, Vivica A Fox, Nene Leakes, Dorinda Medley, Alyssa Milano, and Kelly Osbourne. The series premieres July 13th.
