John Cena will star in Suicide Squad spinoff series at HBO Max
HBO Max has given a straight-to-series order to Peacemaker, which is a spinoff from the upcoming Suicide Squad movie. John Cena will play the main character, reprising his role from the movie. The film’s writer and director, James Gunn, will also write the series and direct multiple episodes, including the pilot. HBO Max has ordered eight episodes of the show. The exact plot of the series isn't known, but the rumor is that it will explore the origins of Peacemaker, a man who "believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it." Production is set to start in early 2021.

Get excited! The cast of Father Of The Bride is reuniting for a new video tomorrow for charity. Netflix teased the event on it's social-media channels this week. The promo reads, “Twenty-five years later, the Banks Family returns for a very special event to benefit World Central Kitchen.” The special will premiere tomorrow on Netflix's YouTube and Facebook pages. World Central Kitchen is a non-profit organization focused on providing meals after natural disasters.

Disney's Black Widow and West Side Story won't be released until 2021

Well, it finally happened. Due to the pandemic, Disney has officially moved some of it's bigger releases, including Black Widow and West Side Story, to 2021. Black Widow is now set to hit theaters on May 7th, 2021, and West Side Story is set to be released on December 10th, 2021. This now means that we will go this whole year without any big Marvel Studios movie release! That is, unless you count WandaVision coming out on Disney+ this year.
