Elliot Page, formerly Ellen Page, comes out as transgender

Ellen Page got on social media and shared that he is transgender and will now go by Elliot Page. He wrote, “I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life... I feel overwhelming gratitude for the incredible people who have supported me along this journey. I can’t begin to express how remarkable it feels to finally love who I am enough to pursue my authentic self.” Elliot Page also thanked the trans community for “courage, your generosity and ceaselessly working to make this world a more inclusive and compassionate place.” He admitted that he was “scared” to come out given the “invasiveness, the hate, the ‘jokes’ and of violence." However, he had to be honest. 

Justin Bieber shares why he and Hailey Bieber are waiting to have kids

Justin Bieber shared that he and his wife, Hailey Bieber, aren’t in any rush to expand their family. He stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"and opened up their plans for having kids one day. He said, "I'm going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out... I'd love to have myself a little tribe, but it's her body and whatever she wants to do." When he was asked why they haven't started trying yet, Justin Bieber explained further, "There's not really an issue, but I think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman... and I think she just is not ready yet, and I think that's OK."

Spider-Man filming at closed schools due to $50k incentive

Many schools closed in March and haven't reopened due to COVID, but the district of Atlanta is allowing two high schools to be used as filming locations for the next Spider-Man movie! The Marvel movie was granted special permission after offering a $50,000 incentive. A letter to the school board members said that the use of the schools was "vital to the success of this next film." The $50,000 donation may possible be used for the school's air filtration systems, COVID-19 tests, or laptops for remote learning.
