Chester Bennington Laid To Rest

The lead singer of Linkin Park, Chester Bennington, was laid to rest in a private funeral service at the South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes, California over the weekend. A drum kit was set up on a stage for a musical tribute to him and guests included Chester Bennington’s family, bandmates and friends. Each attendee was provided with a yellow wristband featuring his name as well as a VIP pass that featured a photo of Chester Bennington performing in front of a stadium crowd. Everyone was extremely touched and moved by the service. Rest in peace.

Kesha’s Court Battle With Dr. Luke Now Includes Lady Gaga

As Kesha is working on her musical comeback, the legal battle she is dealing with that involves her former mentor Dr. Luke continues to get ugly. Lady Gaga is now involved and she has been subpoenaed by Dr. Luke’s team. This is because Lady Gaga has previously publicly defended Kesha again victim-blaming and text messages between the two of them have been a part of the court documents. Dr. Luke’s team said they had to involve her because the statements are false and they haven’t been able “to obtain, despite repeated request, a deposition date from Lady Gaga.” Lady Gaga’s reps have issued a statement about the subpoena, saying that Lady Gaga “has provided all of the relevant information in her possession and is at most an ancillary witness in this process. Dr. Luke’s team is attempting to manipulate the truth and draw press attention to their case by exaggerating Lady Gaga’s role and falsely accusing her of dodging reasonable requests.” Awkward!

Who Is The Biggest Pop Star In The World?

Dave Grohl is really making us guess now! He revealed a while ago that "probably the biggest pop star in the world" sings backing vocals on a track from the upcoming Foo Fighters album, Concrete and Gold. He has now ruled out a couple of names, saying, "Neither Adele nor Taylor Swift sang on the record." So who is it? Who does he consider the biggest pop star in the world? We’ll find out when the album is released on September 15th, but now everyone is thinking Lady Gaga!

Angelina Jolie Shuts Down Vanity Fair’s Portrayal Of Controversial Orphan Auditions

Angelina Jolie is upset over a recent Vanity Fair article that depicted an audition scene for her upcoming Cambodian film “First They Killed My Father” in a very exploitative way. Basically the story described a “game” that Angelina Jolie’s casting directors played with children from “orphanages, circuses and slum schools” where the casting directors placed money in front of the children and asked them what they needed the money for, then took it away to get a reaction out of them. Critics called the casting strategy emotionally abusive and cruel. Angelina Jolie released a statement saying that everything was taken out of context. There were parents, guardians and non-government organizational partners and medical doctors there. Most importantly, “every measure was taken to ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of the children on the film starting from the auditions through production to the present.” She finished by saying, “The suggestion that real money was taken from a child during an audition is false and upsetting. I would be outraged myself if this had happened.”  So RELAX EVERYONE!

Don’t Freak Out! Justin Bieber Will Return To Music!

Justin Bieber fans don’t need to freak out! Just days after announcing he was canceling the rest of his Purpose tour, Justin Bieber is letting his inner circle know that he will return to music, he just has to be ready to do so. So the days of going into the studio and touring aren’t over. Again, he just needs a break! This isn’t the first time Justin Bieber has been burnt out. Back in 2016, he canceled all meet-and-greets with his fans after he said it mentally and emotionally exhausted him to the point of depression. Yeah, I would rather him take a break and come back when he’s ready!
