Taylor Swift Reveals Sleep-Eating Habit, Says She’s Like a ‘Raccoon in a Dumpster’

Taylor Swift is no stranger to midnight snacking. In fact, the act comes so second-nature to her that she rarely even remembers doing it.

In a rousing game of Burning Questions with Ellen DeGeneres, Swift is asked what she does at night to help her sleep. “I go downstairs and rummage through the kitchen and eat what I can find. It's really less human being and more like a raccoon in a dumpster,” she admits.

The "ME!" singer adds, "The next morning we walk downstairs and are like, ‘What happened here?,’ and I don’t remember." It begs the question from DeGeneres, "Does that help you sleep, if you eat a whole lot?"

Swift goes on, "It's not really voluntary." When asked if she "sleep-eats," she responds, "I think so. I don't really remember it, but I know it happens because it could have only been me or cats."

Finally, DeGeneres coyly remarks, "It sounds like you've got an issue," to which Swift quickly replies, "Yup."

In a follow-up burning question during the segment, Swift reveals that her most rebellious moment was probably when she was on "The Ellen Show" at age 18 and put Joe Jonas "on blast" because they had broken up. "We laugh about it now, but that was mouthy," she says.
