Oprah Winfrey Hosting New Apple TV+ Series 'The Oprah Conversation'

Oprah Winfrey is starting a new conversation.

The iconic talk show host has teamed up with Apple TV+ for a new series called “The Oprah Conversation.”

According to the statement, the media mogul will "lead timely and intimate discussions with today’s foremost newsmakers, thought leaders, and masters of their craft," Apple TV+ said.

The series aims to bring “truth and perspective to a range of topics shaping our world, they reveal gripping stories of human connection.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the series will be filmed remotely.

It’s set to premiere on Thursday, July 30.

"It’s time to bring humanity back to the conversation," Oprah said on social media to promote the series.

The debut episode, titled “How to Be an Antiracist,” will find Winfrey talking to bestselling author Professor Ibram X. Kendi about racism and social injustice.

The second episode will be a two-part interview with athlete, commentator, activist, and creator and host of “Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man,” Emmanuel Acho, which will debut Friday, August 7.

Equal Justice Initiative founder and best-selling author Bryan Stevenson will also make an appearance.

Apple TV+ has forged a promising partnership with Winfrey as its already home to “Oprah’s Book Club” and “Oprah Talks COVID-19,” a virtual extension of her wellness tour that tackled social distancing, wellness, and healthy habits in 90-minute episodes.

"In early 2020, I spent nine weeks traveling the country, talking to people about being well and staying focused. It was exhilarating. Then the pandemic hit and shook us all," Winfrey revealed in a statement at the time. "Now, it’s more important than ever to be and stay well and strong. Together, let’s reset, refocus and find clarity in what matters most."

She also donated $10 million to coronavirus relief including pledging $1 million to America’s Food Fund, launched by Leonardo DiCaprio.
